MIAMI BEACH
A thief stole a GPS valued at $300 after breaking a window on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring in the 400 block of 18th Street between 1:15 and 2 p.m. Oct. 25.
A man snatched a woman's purse off her shoulder as she was walking in the 200 block of Ocean Drive at 1:15 a.m. Oct. 26. The bag contained a wallet, two cellphones, an Internet card, credit cards, a driver's license and $200 cash. The wallet, bag and cellphones were valued at $970.
A thief stole a book bag and keys valued at $115 from a 2008 Honda Accord in the 6700 block of Harding Avenue between 9 p.m. Oct. 8 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 19.
A thief stole luggage, clothes and a video camera after smashing a window on a 2009 GMC Yukon in the 6900 block of Collins Avenue between 9:15 and 10 a.m. Oct. 27. Damage was estimated at $150.
Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed another man in the 1200 block of 10th Street after they offered to fix a dent on his car at 6 p.m. Oct. 27. The victim said the man first noticed a dent on his girlfriend's car and offered to fix it. The victim said she was interested but that his car had a dent that needed fixing. The victim then drove to from the 1000 block of West Avenue to the 1200 block of 10th Street, where the two men were waiting for him. As the men began working on the dent on the side of the victim's car, the victim approached them and started watching their work. Then one of the men got behind him, pointed a gun to his back and demanded money. The victim handed over $300 cash and the two men sped away.
NORTH BAY VILLAGE
A thief stole loose change, two checks and a cellphone from a 2003 Ford Explorer in the 7800 block of Miami View Drive between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7 a.m. Oct. 7.
A thief stole a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle in the 7900 block of Harbor Island Drive between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 16 and 1 p.m. Oct. 17.
A thief stole a GPS, a vacuum cleaner and sunglasses after breaking a door lock on a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup truck in the 7900 block of West Drive between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 29.
DOWNTOWN MIAMI
A burglar broke into a car on the corner of Northeast Fourth Street and Biscayne Boulevard on Sept. 15.
A thief stole two cellphones from an apartment in the 100 block of Northeast Second Avenue on Sept. 17.
A thief snatched a purse from a woman waiting for a bus in the 400 block of Biscayne Boulevard on Sept. 17.
OVERTOWN
A burglar broke into a restaurant at 1050 NW 14th St. on Sept. 13.
UPPER EASTSIDE
A burglar rummaged through a car on the corner of Northeast Second Avenue and 40th Street on Sept. 16.
Two men stole items from a woman's back yard in the 5800 block of Northeast Third Avenue while she was home on Sept. 15.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A thief stole a red 2000 Fat Daddy motorcycle valued at $60,000 in the 400 block of Kings Point Drive between2 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Oct.27.
A thief stole $20 cash and a pistol together valued at $360 after breaking into and rummaging through a 2003 Toyota Corolla in the 17000 block of North Bay Road between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 26 and 10:15 a.m. Oct. 27.
A thief stole a 2008 Nissan Altima valued at $40,000 in the 100 block of Sunny Isles Boulevard between 3 p.m. Oct. 5 and 3 p.m. Oct. 12.
Someone stole a 2009 Nissan 370z valued at $29,000 in the 18000 block of North Bay Road between 8 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 23.
