MIAMI BEACH

Two women stole a man's bank card after he met them at the Fontainebleau, 4441 Collins Ave., and took them to a store at 1407 Washington Ave., and then to the 100 block of Lincoln Road between 1 and 2 a.m. Oct. 9. The man said they got in a cab and drove to the Washington Avenue store where he took out money from an ATM and noticed one of the women looking at him punching in his pin. The three got back in the cab and while one woman was ``maintaining the victim occupied'' while driving to Lincoln Road, according to the police report, the other woman reached into the man's pocket and took out his bank card. When they got to their stop, the women got in another cab and took off with his card.

A burglar stole two women's wallets, two iPod Touch devices, earrings together valued at $545, and $420 cash, after ransacking their room at the Hotel Catalina, 1732 Collins Ave., between 11:45 p.m. Oct. 9 and 3:15 a.m. Oct. 10.

A thief stole a jet ski from the rear of a house in the 800 block of North Shore Drive between 7 p.m. Oct. 9 and 7 a.m. Oct. 10.

A thief stole a woman's bike with a basket attached together valued at $380 outside Publix, 1920 West Ave., at 2 p.m. Oct. 9.

A thief stole a 2009 Yamaha jet ski, along with two life vests and goggles, at the Flamingo, 1504 Bay Rd., between 1 p.m. Oct. 10 and 7 a.m. Oct. 11.

A thief stole a 1996 Ford Mustang valued at $1,500 in the 7900 block of Byron Avenue between 11 p.m. Oct. 10 and 3 a.m. Oct. 11.

A thief stole a couple's bag containing a Rolex watch, a camera, a Cartier watch and a wallet together valued at $24,100 after they set the bag down for a ``fraction of a second'' in the 1600 block of the beach at 3:45 a.m. Oct. 12.

BAL HARBOUR

A thief stole a man's cellphone while he was at Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 19. The cellphone was valued at $200.

A man stuffed seven pairs of jeans valued at $1,540 into a shopping bag and left Saks Fifth Avenue, 9700 Collins Ave., without paying at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 2.

Someone stole a watch valued at $4,200 from the Roberto Cavalli store in Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., between 5 and 5:15 p.m. Oct. 8.

Police arrested a 56-year-old woman on a charge of theft at Saks Fifth Avenue, 9700 Collins Ave., after police said she took a dress valued at $145 into a fitting room where she hid the item in her handbag at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26.

BAY HARBOR ISLANDS

Someone damaged a man's car in the 9200 block of East Bay Harbor Drive at 7 p.m. Oct. 13.

A vandal slashed two tires on a car in the 1600 block of 96th Street at 11 p.m. Oct. 23.

DOWNTOWN MIAMI

A thief stole a woman's wallet from her purse while she was at Space nightclub, 34 NE 11th St., on Oct. 10.

OVERTOWN

Someone stole money from a man's pant pocket while he was sleeping in his apartment in the 800 block of Northwest Fourth Avenue on Oct. 12.

EDGEWATER

A burglar broke into an apartment in the 400 block of Northeast 38th Street after forcing open the front door on Sept. 27.

UPPER EASTSIDE

A burglar ransacked a business at 6900 Biscayne Blvd. between 11 p.m. Oct. 4 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 5.

A man tried to break into a house in the 300 block of Northeast 57th Street by using a crowbar on Oct. 3. The victim told police when the burglar spotted him, he ran off.
