A 26-year-old man faces multiple charges after he allegedly attacked his grandmother, hit a security guard with a crow bar and bit a sheriff’s deputy on the hand last week in suburban Lake Worth.
Louis Manuel Marrugo was arrested Friday after Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies reportedly found him hiding in a storage closet at the Fountains Country Club. He faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, burglary, aggravated battery on a security officer and battery on a law-enforcement officer. He remained in custody at the Palm Beach County Jail Monday night in lieu of $31,000 bail.
