Police received a call about a man “acting erratically in the roadway” shortly before 10 a.m. at Northwest 119th Street and Second Avenue, according to a statement.
When the officer arrived, shots were fired but no one was hit.
Henry Pigott, 28, was arrested without incident, police said. He had a firearm on him.

“It was a non-contact shooting,” said Detective Alvaro Zabaleta.
