Police are continuing their search for 7-month-old Penelope Hogarth and her 21-year-old mother Elizabeth Jessica McCreery after the baby’s father was arrested early Wednesday morning in Alamonte Springs.
David Hogarth, 46, was taken into custody at 2:45 am on charges of marijuana possession with intent to sell, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the home after receiving an anonymous call that the child was not being cared for, the Sentinel reported. Once inside, officers found about a dozen large marijuana plants.
During the arrest, officers said that an unidentified man became belligerent with police. He refused to specify where the woman and child were.

“Based on what he’s told us, we believe they may be in danger,” Officer Rob Pelton told the Sentinel.
