Police arrested a man who they say is responsible for a shooting in North Miami that killed two men and sent another to the hospital.
Aren Evans Lenton, 23, was taken into custody by North Miami police and U.S. Marshals at 8:30 p.m. Friday and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
According to police, Lenton shot three men sitting in front of a home at 12705 NW Eighth Ave. at 1 a.m. April 12. Two died, and the third was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, police say.
A victim identified Lenton from a group of photos on Tuesday, leading to his arrest, according to a police report.
