Thieves use stolen credit card for Uber and prepaid cell phones

Instead of hitting the nearby gas station for gas and munchies like a typical credit card thief trying to get what they can before the owner cancels the card, on May 31, Broward Sheriff’s Office says these two suspected boosters used their ill-gotten American Express for an Uber ride to the Walmart Supercenter at 5851 NW 177th St. in North Miami-Dade. That’s where surveillance video caught them at the entrance as they started to shop for a prepaid cell phone.

Burglar slips into home through window

An agile, young burglar thought he could slip in and out of a Dania Beach home through a window undetected, but the victim’s home surveillance captured clear images of his face as he stared right at the recording device when he entered. Once inside the home, the burglar was seen walking around the home before exiting the same way he went in. Its unclear if the burglar stole anything from the home.
