I would like to let North Miami Beach residents know more about one of their candidates, Bruce Lamberto, who is running for councilman in the Group 3 seat. I can personally attest to the dedicated and disciplined character of this man, having known him for almost 10 years.
Mr. Lamberto introduced me to a World War II Re-enactor group that provides honor guard details for Memorial Day and Veterans’ Day services, in addition to providing living history presentations to high school and JROTC students. Many of us are veterans, including Mr. Lamberto and myself. I served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a radar observer, and Bruce served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
Bruce is also dedicated to remembering veterans and pushed the City Council to restore the city’s 60-year-old War Memorial. He also did the research and sought donations to install the Veterans’ Memorial Plaque honoring veterans killed in action and buried in the local cemetery. I am aware that he also serves on the North Miami Beach’s Redevelopment Advisory Board and the Beautification Committee.
I am happy to see Bruce further his civic duties by running for councilman.
Never miss a local story.
Nobody works harder than he does and no matter what the situation, he always seems to make the right calls.
Unfortunately, I live in Aventura, so I cannot vote for him, but I wholeheartedly can recommend him for that office.
Stanley R. Rudd,
