Think brunch, reclining loveseats and Giant Jenga.
This Memorial Day weekend, the now-open CityPlace Doral will celebrate its first holiday and wants you to join.
In the last few months, the new urban hub — at 8300 NW 36th Street — opened up several of its 40 restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. Those ready to party this weekend include Cinebistro, Kings Bowl, Brimstone Woodfire Grill and IceBox Cafe.
▪ Start your Sunday with a killer brunch at Brimstone Woodfire Grill from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
▪ Catch a movie at the luxury, seven-screen CinéBistro, on the red and comfy reclining chairs.
▪ Grab some cocktails, listen to music and knock out glow-in-the dark bowling pins at Kings Bowl. A free game of bowling and ice cream sundaes are being offered to those with military ID. Play Giant Jenga on the patio.
▪ Gobble down raspberry chocolate mousse cake at Icebox Cafe. It’s the restaurant’s second location; the flagship restaurant sits on South Beach.
Rather stay home and cook dinner? CityPlace Doral says that’s OK — just pick up your ingredients at the newly-open Fresh Market.
