The threat posed by Tropical Storm Erika led to the cancellation of some roadwork — but other projects continue this week.
The entrance ramp to eastbound State Road 836 from southbound Northwest 12th Avenue will be closed for adjustments to an electronic toll collection gantry through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night. For the same purpose, the entrance ramp to eastbound 836 from northbound Northwest 57th Avenue will be closed through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night. Meanwhile, the westbound 836 exit ramp to Northwest 107th Avenue will be closed for paving through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night.
On U.S. 1, one or two lanes in each direction will be closed nightly at the interchange with the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike through Thursday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
On the Turnpike itself, one or two lanes in each direction between Southwest 104th Street and Southwest 184th Street will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Friday. On State Road 874, two northbound or southbound lanes between Killian Parkway and the Turnpike interchange will close between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. nightly through Friday.
On Interstate 95, the southbound ramp to the Turnpike and westbound State Road 826 will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. through Thursday.
