Roadwork this week will tie up traffic on State Roads 826, 836, 874, Interstate 95 and the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike, as well as on the 79th Street Causeway.
The entrance ramp to eastbound 836 from southbound Northwest 12th Avenue will be closed for adjustments to an electronic toll collection gantry through Thursday, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night. For the same purpose, the entrance ramp to eastbound 836 from northbound Northwest 57th Avenue will be closed through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night.
On the Turnpike, one or two northbound or southbound lanes will be closed nightly at various locations between Southwest 216th Street and Eureka Drive through Thursday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for widening and toll express lane construction. Also, for the same purpose, one or two Turnpike lanes in each direction between Southwest 104th and 184th streets will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Friday.
On 874, one or two northbound or southbound lanes between Killian Parkway and the Turnpike interchange will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Friday, also for Turnpike widening project.

On I-95, a pavement project will close the southbound ramp to the Turnpike and westbound 826 nightly between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. through Thursday.
Lane restrictions will begin next week along the Northeast 79th Street Causeway from east of North Bayshore Drive to Bay Drive West, when workers start preparing the road for a $5.1 million eight-month project. The project includes, among other things, repaving and restriping as well as replacing sections of curb, gutter and sidewalk.
On 826, workers will close one lane at intervals of 15 minutes at each stop from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night through Thursday between Northwest 25th and 103rd streets to continue building toll express lanes. Also, as part of the same project, all southbound lanes on 826 will be closed between Northwest 122nd and 103rd streets from Sunday to Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. Meanwhile, all eastbound travel lanes on Northwest 25th Street will be closed at Northwest 79th Avenue through Friday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge work.
