Miami police on Tuesday were looking into how a man died after his body was found in a car parked at a Shell gas station.

Police received a call just before noon from a woman saying there was a man who was unresponsive in her car.

She pulled into the station at Northwest 54th Street and Seventh Avenue for help.

When police arrived they found the man’s body.

At 2 p.m., his sheet-covered body remained on the floor near the open door of the Nissan Versa.

“We don’t know why they ended up at this gas station,” said Miami police spokeswoman Frederica Burden.

Investigators questioned the driver and then let her go.

Police said they do not believe foul play is involved and listed the unidentified man’s death as “unclassified.”

No names have been released.
