A man who may have tried to sexually assault an elderly woman Thursday in Miami is still at large.
Miami Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the person who allegedly walked into a home through an open door on March 19.
Detectives said the woman was startled by a man walking towards her from her living room area.
He then, according to the victim, forced himself on her and tried to sexually assault her.
The woman started shouting and was able to free herself from him. After much struggle, the man ran away.
Police said they are looking for a black man described as being between his 20s or early 30s. He is about 5’8” to 5’9” tall, with a slim build; long, black braided hair; and big, brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a red tank top, dark shorts, black tennis shoes and a fingerless glove on his left hand.
Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
