A body was found early Tuesday morning next to a car, not far from Miami International Airport, according to police.
Jimmy Naun Benitez Gonzalez, 31, was found just before 6 a.m. in the area of Northwest 74th Street and 31st Avenue.
By Tuesday afternoon, police released a flier with Gonzalez's picture in hopes of getting information from the public on his death.
According to Miami Herald news partner CBS4, Gonzalez was wearing only a blouse when he was found by someone who lives in the area.
Orlando Meirles told the station that someone alerted him to a car that was blocking his driveway at around 6 a.m.
“There was a car parked here and they called me because they could not get out,” Meirles said. “I checked with a flashlight to see if anyone was in the car. I went around the car and I saw the body on the other side.”
Police remained in the area — which is mix of residential, businesses and warehouses — for at least six hours, according to CBS4.
No further information was available Tuesday night.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade police at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
