Here’s the complete news release:
The Queen of Pop is bringing her “Rebel Heart” tour to Miami this January, but not before the luscious ladies of Lips perform their all-Madonna dinner show in her honor at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20. “Expose Your Rebel Heart —A Tribute to Madonna” at Lips will kick off the 28th annual AIDS Walk Miami to benefit Care Resource, South Florida’s oldest and largest HIV/AIDS service organization.
Never miss a local story.
Fans of Madonna and supporters of Care Resource will experience her likeness in an entirely exclusive show hosted by Daisy Deadpetals. The cast of Lips will perform their renditions of favorite Madonna songs such as Like a Virgin, Into the Groove, Papa Don’t Preach, and Like a Prayer.
“Care Resource is a vital link for those in need of comprehensive health care in Miami-Dade and Broward counties,” said Rick Siclari, CEO of Care Resource. “We are grateful to Lips and other organizations, which help support our mission today and tomorrow.”
While watching wildly entertaining Madonna-inspired performances, guests will enjoy Lips’ three-course dinner menu with a drag-a-licious salad, entree and dessert for $21. A $10 cover charge is additional, as well as beverages, tax and gratuity.
“We’re fortunate to be able to lend support to a great organization like Care Resource,” said Yvonne Lamé, Lips founder and co-owner. “There’s no better reason to celebrate than Madonna coming to town and each of our divas is ready to put her own unique twist on The Queen of Pop’s great music for this worthy cause.”
