A man in his mid-60s was found dead Thursday night inside his car in an Oakland Park parking lot, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Oakland Park Fire Rescue arrived at a shopping plaza at East Commercial Boulevard and North Dixie Highway shortly before 8:30 p.m., BSO spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright said, after the man was found by a relative who went looking for him after he did not show up for work.
According to paramedics, there were “no obvious signs of foul play.”
The man was not immediately identified.
BSO detectives were investigating the death Thursday night. The Broward Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of the man’s death.
