A knife-wielding robber has attacked four people in West Hollywood in the past week, police said.
The robberies have happened at night in the area of Johnson Street and State Road 7; in one of the incidents the robber slashed his victim's arm.
Police did not have a specific description of the assailant but said he appears to be Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old and about 160 pounds.
The most recent robbery happened Friday in the 6200 block of Johnson Street at about 12:45 a.m.
The robber was riding a bicycle and collided with another bicyclist under the Florida's Turnpike overpass. The robber then pulled out a knife, pressed it to the bicyclist's abdomen and demanded money. After the victim handed over cash, the robber pedaled away, police said.
One of the other robberies happened Thursday, on the sidewalk in the 6100 block of Johnson Street. The other two happened Jan. 25. The first robbery was reported outside a home in the 5800 block of Johnson Street, and less than two hours later the robber struck again at a U-Gas station down the street. In that incident, police said the robber attacked a customer, who fought back and was cut in the right bicep and on his finger by the robber.
