Two people are dead after a car and Tri-Rail train collided in Pompano Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The accident, which happened near Andrews Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard, has caused tracks to shut down in both directions.
The train was going northbound when it struck the car, according to Gina Carter, a BSO spokeswoman. The victims have not been identified.
