Several people were hospitalized after armed robbery suspects fleeing in a stolen SUV caused a seven vehicle crash in North Lauderdale Tuesday afternoon, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
None of the victims’ conditions were considered life-threatening, according to a press release. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
According to BSO, there was an armed robbery at the Cash America Pawn store at 2880 N. State Rd. 7. The suspects then took off in a stolen SUV.
Deputies followed. The pursuit ended when the stolen Ford Explorer caused the seven-car crash at the intersection of McNab Road and Rock Island Road.
Deputies initially took two men into custody and then found a third man at a nearby apartment complex.
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday night.
