A cold front is expected to brush South Florida after delivering rain early in the week, according to the the National Weather Service.
Monday will be cloudy through the day with a chance of rain after 1 p.m. into the night.
“We are looking at a wet period for Monday with a 30 percent chance of rain,” National Weather Service meteorologist David Ross said.
Lows will drop to the low-- to mid-60s on Monday night and into the mid-50s on Tuesday night and highs will be in the 70s through the week.
Expect cooler night and morning temperatures as the holiday weekend approaches, trailing an arctic blast in the Northeast where snow is anticipated.
The upcoming Presidents’ Day and Valentine’s Day weekend will be sunny. Friday and Saturday will see a high of 70 with lows in the mid-50s.
