Temperatures are expected to be as cold as 51 degrees Sunday morning as another cold front chills South Florida into the coming week.
The cold weather will move in from the Northwest Saturday evening and with it comes a 30 percent chance of showers during the day.
Sunday will be clear and sunny with a high of 69; optimal conditions for runners in the Miami Marathon.
“It’s going to be a really noticeable change,” National Weather Service meteorologist Dan Gregoria said. But fronts like these are “nothing unusual" for this time of year.
The cold air will turn breezy and stay sunny on Monday and Tuesday.
With a high of 69, the front will feel coldest Wednesday before returning to normal temperatures for the rest of the week.
