    On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to reports of an injured worker at MIA. The worker was injured after falling onto the roof of one of the buildings. Several units responded to the scene including. The worker was airlifted to a nearby hospital as a trauma alert in critical condition. It is unknown what led to the fall.
