59-year-old woman dies after Fla. Keys dive trip

The Associated Press

A 59-year-old woman has died after a dive trip off the Florida Keys.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Johnsi Hudspeth, of Elkin, N.C., was on a commercial dive off Key Largo when she encountered trouble and approached a nearby boat for help.

Hudspeth was pulled aboard and given oxygen. A deputy and paramedics met the diving boat at shore and transported her to Mariner's Hospital. She later died.

An autopsy will be done to determine Hudspeth's cause of death.
