The annual pamperfest known as Miami Spa Month — which actually lasts two months — kicked off Wednesday, offering discounted treatments at 35 Miami-Dade spas.
Prices start at $99 for indulgences including a 70-minute signature chardonnay massage at the Biltmore in Coral Gables; a 50-minute facial at the Miami Beach Edition or a “Pampering with Pooch” massage (50 minutes for human, 10 for canine) at The Betsy — South Beach. Other services are available for $129; prices do not include tax or tip, though some include a glass of wine or bubbly.
Spa month pricing represents a discount of as much as 50 percent.
Participating spas include two that received five stars this year from Forbes Travel Guide: Acqualina Spa by ESPA at The Acqualina Resort and The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami. The promotion runs through Aug. 31.
Never miss a local story.
Miami Spa Month is part of the “Temptations” program launched by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau that also includes foodie favorite Miami Spice, which runs between Aug. 1 and Sept. 30.
