The Arts + Entertainment District of Downtown Miami teamed up with media company The New Tropic and the Beacon Council’s Talent Development Network to host the inaugural Job Flea on Thursday. NR Investments, the real estate investment company behind the A+E District, said it wanted to provide the community with a tool to find potential employers in innovative and compelling companies.
The Job Flea, set up like a flea market in an outdoor setting, will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1440 N. Miami Ave. Uber, Lyft, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins. Alma Advertising, CodeFever, LiveNinja, Yellow Pepper and many more companies, and universities including Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, Barry and Florida Memorial are expected to participate. Fair goers will be able to spend the afternoon networking with company executives, and the Job Flea will also include keynotes and discussions on the future of our economy and workforce, all while providing attendees with food, drinks and music.
