Residents in several more cities in Broward and Miami-Dade counties now have access to AT&T GigaPower, an ultra-fast Internet service that provides upload and download speeds up to 1 gigabit per second to homes, apartments and small businesses.
AT&T launched its service in parts of Cooper City, Miami Lakes, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation and surrounding communities, AT&T announced on Tuesday. AT&T GigaPower was already available in parts of Coconut Creek, Coral Gables, Davie, Delray Beach, Doral, Fort. Lauderdale, Hialeah, Hollywood, Homestead, Miami, Miami Gardens, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pompano Beach, unicorporated West Delray and surrounding communities, the company said.
With speeds up to 1 gigabit per second a customer can download 25 songs in a second, a TV show in 3 seconds or an HD movie in less than 36 seconds, AT&T said. AT&T customers can check availability at att.com/gigapower.
