Spirit Airlines on Wednesday announced that it is adding Cleveland to its network, with plans to add service between the Ohio city and eight other destinations by mid-April.
The Miramar-based low-cost carrier said daily flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport are scheduled to begin Feb. 5. Also on that date, service to Dallas/Fort Worth and Las Vegas is set to take off.
Service between Cleveland and three other Florida cities — Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers — launches Jan. 15, though Tampa and Fort Myers will be seasonal.
Flights to Los Angeles and Myrtle Beach, another seasonal destination, will start April 16.
