The owners of Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante in Miami Beach are planning to open two new regional Italian restaurants in Miami this fall.

In the works from Sardinia duo Tony Gallo and Pietro Vardeu are Moye, at 80 SW 8th St., and Campania, at 4029 North Miami Ave. in the Design District, in the space previously occupied by Egg & Dart.

Moye will be inspired by Puglia, known for great wines, olive oils, and as the birthplace of burrata, while Campania will focus on the cuisine of the region that includes Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Campania’s offerings will include artisanal, made-to-order pizzas from a custom pizza oven that was created in Italy and shipped to Miami.

Gallo and Vardeu said that during their summer regional dinner series — which features multi-course menus paired with wines from different parts of Italy — Puglia and Campania have always been the most popular menus.

Both restaurants’ menus will be overseen by Chef Pietro, and the partners said they are bringing staff from Italy to handle both kitchens.
