Swire Properties said Tuesday that Executive Vice President Megan Kelly, who came to Miami to join Swire Properties in 1989, will retire, after completing her 25 years of service on November 7.

At the helm of Swire Properties’ asset management efforts, Kelly has been integrally involved in significant development milestones for Swire Properties’ master-planned Brickell Key project, which encompasses 12 towers, and for Brickell City Centre, a $1.05 billion mixed-use development in the Brickell area of downtown Miami, the company said.

Kelly’s decision to retire was made in order to travel and devote more time to civic interests in Miami, Swire said. A successor has not yet been chosen.

Swire Properties, established in Miami since 1979, is an international developer of urban office, hotel and condo real estate. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the publicly-listed Swire Properties Ltd., based in Hong Kong.
