Two more tony fashion brands are coming to Miami’s Design District — the first Helmut Lang store in South Florida and a Theory store — as well as Italian furnishings retailer Natuzzi Italia.
Metro 1 said Wednesday that it has brokered two retail lease agreements for the stores, totaling more than 10,000 square feet.
Theory and Helmut Lang signed a long-term lease for the 5,000-square-foot corner retail building at 101 NE 40th St., joining other nearby designer brands, including Christian Louboutin, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Fendi, Bulgari, Emilio Pucci, De Beers, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Hermes, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Burberry.
Metro 1 said it also arranged the lease for 5,500 square feet of retail space at 3800 N. Miami Ave. to Natuzzi Italia. The upscale Italian home furnishings brand will join Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams in December upon the retail development’s completion.
