AT&T has activated seven more cell sites in South Florida.

The five new Miami-Dade County cell sites are expanding service in Homestead, Palmetto Bay, the Kendall area, North Bay Village and in Miami west of Miami International Airport. Broward County has a new cell site in Pompano Beach and an additional West Palm Beach cell site is is expanding coverage in central Palm Beach County.

Since the start of this year, AT&T has activated 27 new sites in South Florida, part of AT&T’s Project Velocity IP program, a three-year investment plan announced in fall 2012 to expand and enhance its broadband networks.
