Beer 360, a new craft beer bar and international steakhouse, with a twist — serving picanha steak in mini brick furnaces tableside — opens Wednesday at 18090 Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach.
The restaurant, owned by Brazilian Luiz Gustavo, will offer an internationally inspired menu with a Brazilian influence, along with 320 bottled beers and 40 draft selections hailing from 35 countries. The steakhouse’s specialty is picanha, a butcher’s cut steak popular in Brazil, which can be purchased by the ounce. It is cooked in a brick furnace, which the restaurant says slow cooks the meat at high temperatures in an enclosed space, resulting in more flavorful and tender selections. The dish is then served at the table in a mini brick furnace to keep it warm.
The restaurant’s executive chef, Yasmin Rocha of Brazil, will focus on health-oriented ingredients, including fresh-made seasonings.
On Wednesday, Beer 360 will feature $3 local craft eight-ounce brews and free, three-ounce servings, per person, of picanha steak. Twenty-five percent of proceeds that day will benefit the Asante Samuel Foundation, which provides education, support and networking to single mothers. Samuel will make an appearance and participate in ribbon-cutting at 6 p.m., the restaurant said.

Open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining, Beer 360 will feature indoor and outdoor dining, flat-screen TVs for sports viewing, and live entertainment.
