David Layman of Tamarac has been accused of molesting four young boys.

David Layman, the Tamarac piano teacher already charged with sexually abusing three boys, molested a fourth child, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office affidavit.

Layman, 35, has been charged with two new counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and an additional count of lewd or lascivious conduct for his alleged assault on an 8-year-old boy.

Layman abused the boy at 2500 Glades Cir. in Weston, which is the address of Imagine Charter School, where he worked, according to BSO.

On two occasions, Layman reportedly asked the third-grader to sit on his lap during movie time. While the boy was on his lap, Layman fondled him, the report said.

The affidavit also noted that Layman would rub the boy's inner thigh as a reward for the child completing a song on an instrument.

Layman was already in jail when BSO slapped him with the new charges.

He had previously been charged with molesting three other boys, including two for 1 ½ years.

The original charges stem from a March 18 private piano lesson in Weston, where a 7-year-old boy lived, BSO said. Layman is accused of repeatedly fondling the boy during the lesson. The boy told his mother, which led to the BSO investigation.

Layman admitted to rubbing the boy's upper thigh but said he did it out of praise, according to that arrest report. He did not recall the other touching, the report stated.

According to BSO, Layman also taught at Arts Academy of Hollywood. He earned extra money by giving private piano lessons.
