Thief threatens couple in Miramar parking lot
A 40-year-old man driving a Dodge Stratus through the Pillbox Plaza, 1701 NW 123rd Ave. in Miramar, about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 8 was lost.
He told police he drove around the plaza until a silver Ford stopped next to him going in the opposite direction.
Before he could ask for directions, the driver pointed a gun at him and said, ``Give me all your money.''
Fearing for his life, the victim drove off but the robber backed up at a high speed and caught up with him at a stop sign.
The robber jumped out of his car, waved his arms and yelled at him. The victim, unsure if the robber still had a gun, drove out of the plaza.
When the robber's car drove past him on Johnson Street, the victim's wife in the front passenger seat wrote down the tag number.
Officers ran the tag number and it came back to a Subaru that could not be located at the registered address.
