The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will host a social event fundraiser for the 44-year-old Hollywood Florida Scholarship Foundation.

The Grapes for Grades wine tasting, gourmet food and smooth jazz extravaganza is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Hollywood Beach Marriott on Hollywood Broadwalk, will help provide college scholarships to graduates of 12 area high schools.

Participants who purchase a $100 raffle ticket can win a 14-day Mediterranean cruise, airfare included, from Barcelona to Istanbul with stops in France, Italy, and Greece.

Tickets to the event are $60 in advance, $70 at the door. Call 954-923-4000 or register online at www.hollywoodchamber.org.

• Treats for Soldiers, which provides care packages to American armed forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, will host a fundraiser flea market at Hallandale Beach Cultural Community Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

It will feature collectibles, clothing, furniture, housewares and more.

Proceeds will help buy personal care and comfort items for troops and pay for postage to send individual boxes overseas.

Admission is free. Another Treats for Soldiers flea market is scheduled for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 15 at David Park Community Center, 108 N. 33rd Ct. in Hollywood.
