Two boats docked at a Miami marina caught fire Sunday afternoon, sending plumes of black smoke into the air and briefly halting traffic on a bridge above, officials said.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Miami Fire Rescue responded to the fire just south of the Southwest First Street bridge after 5 p.m., according to Lt. Ignatius Carroll, a department spokesman.

Two fiberglass boats -- one about 30-feet long, the other about 40-feet in length -- were destroyed.

Crews were ''tearing the boat apart to make sure they hit all of the areas, wetting everything down,'' Carroll said from the scene. ``One of the boats is partially sinking.''
