Passenger train hits truck at Pembroke Road; street shut down, Tri-Rail service delayed

A Tri-Rail commuter train hit a Coca-Cola delivery truck Wednesday morning at Pembroke Road.

More than 100 people were evacuated from the southbound train and directed to buses after the crash, which happened before 6 a.m.

Pembroke Road was shut down east and west of I-95.

No injuries have been reported.

Tri-Rail says passengers were delayed of 30 to 45 minutes Wednesday morning because of the incident.
