Footage released by police in Tempe, Arizona, shows the moment a female pedestrian pushing her bicycle was knocked down by a self-driving Uber car on Sunday, March 18. The victim, 49-year-old Elaine Herzberg, later died in hospital from her injuries. Police named the driver as 44-year-old Rafaela Vasquez, while stating that the vehicle was in “autonomous mode” at the time of the crash, according to ABC15 Arizona. The accident happened on Mill Avenue near Curry Road, the report said. This video first shows the Uber hitting the cyclist from the perspective of the driver, before revealing the driver’s reaction to the crash.
President Donald Trump met with some of the nation's top law enforcement officials to speak out against so-called sanctuary cities on March 20, 2018. At the meeting, Rep. Martha McSally, (R) Arizona, noted that Arizona does not have any sanctuary cities, but it borders California which does have them. She suggested building a wall between these two states to keep "these dangerous criminals out of our state."

Coral Springs police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery which occurred on March 13, 2018, t the Mobil Gas station located at 10739 West Atlantic Boulevard in the City of Coral Springs. The suspect entered the gas station and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. He is described as a 5’7” to 5’9”, 160 to 170 pounds in his low to mid-twenties.
