Soccer games only broadcast in Spanish

Similar stories:

[Regarding Action Line Sept. 27], I am a great soccer fan and would like to watch European soccer in English.

I called GOL TV and was told that games are televised in English and it is up to Comcast to bring the games in English.

I contacted Comcast's customer service department and was told that there are more Spanish-speaking fans here, and therefore all games are brought in Spanish.

``Sorry,'' they said.

I believe that as long we allow the Spanish-speaking population to conduct their business in their own tongue, why should they learn English?

They live here like home away from home, but under better conditions.

I wish I was that lucky when I came to this country.

I had to learn English, thank God.
