I am aware of several homes where the homeowners have been claiming Homestead Exemption, but have been renting out their homes since they first owned them, never having lived there. Who may I anonymously contact?

A.You can call 3-1-1, and a representative will issue a report and send it to the property appraisal office.

You also may e-mail the office directly at pamail@miamidade.gov. Include as many details as possible, including the address and any other relevant information, a 3-1-1 representative said. If you want to remain anonymous, sign the letter as a concerned citizen.
