$800 phone bill creates headache
I am at a total loss of words because AT&T has cut off my phone service.
My problem started in August/September of 2008 when I received my monthly phone bill and I hit the roof seeing over $800 in long distance calls, when at the time AT&T was not my preferred long distance carrier. But, somehow, when I changed back to AT&T they disconnected my long distance carrier and all of my international calls were billed by AT&T without my consent or knowledge.
I called AT&T and they told me they would re-rate the bill to an international calling plan and I agreed. When I received the next bill, the charges were still there. I called and they told me ``Yes, it was adjusted. It will appear on your next bill.''
But when I received my next bill it was the same, and again I called AT&T and again I was told it will be adjusted.
Well, this went on for over nine months and finally after getting the same reply that it will be taken care of, I stopped calling. But now they have cut my phone service and when I called the other day they told me I never called and there was no record and since it was over three months there was nothing I can do. I hope you can help me.

A.We forwarded your issue to AT&T and you said that you received a total credit of $743. You were very happy to finally resolve the problem.
