Part-time problem

Help. I am unemployed and collecting unemployment compensation. I was able to work one day for a part time job and reported my $40 earnings (even though I had not yet been paid) as the law requires. Now they are not sending me my funds because they say they have to investigate it.

I have been honest and followed the rules and now I do not have the funds to pay my bills.

I have been looking for work and took the part time job to help me out and now I have fallen into a terrible black hole. Help, please.

A.We forwarded your issue to the Agency for Workforce Innovation, and you said that you received a $600 payment.

You also found out that if you report earnings one week and not the other (since you report a two-week period), the system will automatically flag your account and delay the payment process. Only if you claim earnings two weeks in a row will it not affect the timing of your direct deposit, you learned.
