Recycling centers in Miami Beach

Q. I would like to recycle magazines, brochures, and other glossy paper products in Miami-Dade County. I see that some local U.S. Post Offices have recycling bins in their lobbies.

Are these bins only for mail received at P.O. boxes in those facilities or can anyone drop off magazines there?

-- S.A. Miami Beach

A. We spoke to a representative for the U.S. Postal Service in Miami. He said that the bins at post offices are not large and that they are there for the office's customers.

"If you have something to recycle, look for a place with a larger capacity," he said.
