FPL finally fixes streetlight
Q. I am tired of writing e-mails to FPL reporting a streetlight problem, and I believe maybe you can help me eventually have the light turned on.
Since I moved into the community in February 2008, I reported immediately to FPL that the streetlight was out, because we walked every night in the area. Later on, I followed up with another two e-mails. Until today, the light is not on. Please help! Thanks.

A. We contacted Florida Power & Light spokeswoman Sarah Marmion, who said that FPL's streetlight department investigated your complaint. When it did, the company realized that it did not have the correct address on the original repair requests.
After several attempts to contact you, Marmion said FPL reached you and determined that the streetlight that required repair was in Broward County, not Miami-Dade County.
Marmion said FPL apologized for the misunderstanding and assured you that the light would be repaired that night. And it was.
