Dade libraries accept books, magazines
Q. I have 150-200 comic books (Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica) in reasonably good condition that I would like to donate to a group that could use them. I live in Coconut Grove and would be happy to drop them off at a location that is not too far away. Please advise whom to contact.

Q. Do you know where we could donate New Yorker magazines from the last year or so.?

Q. I read, with interest, the article in The Miami Herald Action Line June 17, concerning Carlos Sanchez's desire to donate an Encyclopedia Britannica to the Public Library. I also would like to done mine, if not to the library then to some other organization. Can you let me know where to deliver them? Thank you in advance for your help.

A. We spoke with a representative for Miami-Dade Public Libraries. She said that you can donate any book or magazine items at any of the county's libraries, if the items are in good condition.
You can receive a receipt for your donation, which you can use for a possible deduction.
