Mosquitoes making life miserable
Q. I live in Coral Gables. On June 3, I contacted Miami-Dade Mosquito Control to alert them to the large number of mosquitoes in my area. I was told that an inspector would be out within three business days to look at the premises. I was given a case number.
I called Mosquito Control again and again to find out the status of my complaint. To date, no one from the Mosquito Control Department has been to my premises and there has been no spraying.
We are being eaten alive by mosquitoes! This is one of the services that is paid for by our taxes. I would like to know why no action has been taken.

A. We contacted Delfin Molins at the Miami-Dade Public Works Department. We related to him your situation and he said he would investigate what action has been taken in regard to your case.
He then informed us that spraying had began in your neighborhood and your problem would be resolved shortly.
