Hibberd was the 24-year-old son of Darlene and Larry Hibberd and was a commercial pilot for Tex Star Air Freight Inc. He died Dec. 4, 2002, when his twin-engine Cessna 402C cargo plane crashed during a cargo delivery from Denton, Texas, to Dallas.
