A thief placed his hands inside jars of pickled food, deeming the items unsellable, at a Chevron gas station in the 20000 block of Northwe... st 27th Avenue about 10 p.m. March 28. Police arrested the thief after he ate some of the items. Police had banned the man from the store because of previous incidences. Damage is estimated at $48.

The students were from Beacon Hill Preparatory School in Miami Gardens.
