▪ Astronaut Memorial: A Day of Remembrance ceremony honoring the crews of Apollo 1 and space shuttles Challenger and Columbia will be held at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Jan. 28, the 30th anniversary of the explosion of the space shuttle Challenger.
The ceremony will include a wreath laying, musical performances, remarks by various dignitaries and a flyover by the Florida Air National Guard. Remembrance events will also be held at Arlington National Cemetery and other NASA locations.
The ceremony is held by the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and will take place at 10 a.m. at the foundation’s Space Mirror Memorial at the visitor complex. Access to the ceremony is included with admission. Details: www.KennedySpaceCenter.com.
▪ Celebration of Harry Potter: The third annual Celebration of Harry Potter returns to Universal Orlando Resort Jan. 29-31, featuring question and answer sessions with stars from the films, special panels and demonstrations and an expo where guests can buy Potter swag.

Participants will include Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley; Matthew Lewis, who played Longbottom; Katie Leung, who played Chang; Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley; and Evanna Lynch, who played Lovegood. The popular Harry Potter Expo features an interactive mini-tour from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and a chance for guests to try on the Sorting Hat.

▪ Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival: Dates and concert lineup have been announced for Busch Gardens’ second Food & Wine Festival, which will run weekends March 5-April 24. New culinary selections will include duck tacos, lobster ravioli, truffle fries and almond coconut truffles, plus more than 120 wines, craft brews and cocktails.
Concerts, which are included with regular park admission, open with Kenny Rogers on March 5 and include Huey Lewis & The News, March 6; O.A.R., March 13; George Thorogood & The Destroyers, March 19; MercyMe, March 20; Third Eye Blind, March 27; The Commodores, April 2; Andy Grammer, April 3; The All-American Rejects, April 10; Meat Loaf, April 16; Lynyrd Skynyrd, April 17; Gente de Zona, April 23; and Jordin Sparks, April 24. Performers have not been announced yet for some dates.
▪ Key West Craft Show: The 31st annual Key West Craft Show, which will feature more than 100 craft artists, will be Jan. 30-31. The juried outdoor festival draws as many as 25,000 visitors each year. Artisans’ booths will be set up on Whitehead and Caroline streets and offer original, handmade items including pottery, glass, jewelry, woodcrafts, fabric, wearable art and toys.
