Music-themed cruises aplenty are planned out of South Florida’s port this year — and next. Here’s a sampling.
It’s not a football-themed cruise that New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and his family are hosting.
There will be lots of music aboard Gronk’s Party Ship (Norwegian Pearl), which sails Feb. 19 from PortMiami with Flo Rida, Redfoo, Waka Flocka Flame, 3LAU and The Big Rock Show aboard. Activities also include a Q&A session with the Gronkowskis, and the family will challenge a team of randomly selected guests to a game of Family Feud.
Never miss a local story.
The three-night cruise makes stops in Nassau and at “Gronk’s Island” in the Bahamas.

If you’re one of those people who miss the ’80s (and haven’t thrown out those colorful leg warmers), you can immerse yourself in the decade on The 80s Cruise.
Embark on the seven-night voyage on Feb. 28 in Fort Lauderdale and sail Holland America’s ms Eurodam along with Huey Lewis and the News, Richard Marx, Starship, Kool & The Gang and Tiffany among other musical guests.
In addition to reveling in the music, guests can play the board games they enjoyed in the ‘80s, watch some of the movies from that decade (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Pretty in Pink) or show off their talents in Star Search.
The ship will visit Grand Turk, St. Thomas and San Juan, and make a stop at the private island of Half Moon Cay.
